Mika Pohjola - piano

Pianist and composer Mika Pohjola has recorded more than thirty albums in as many years of recording activity. Reflections in Real Time is Pohjola's first solo piano recording made in three sessions 1993 and 1998. These are astounding solo piano expressions by an artist with a mature and innovative vision for harmonies and improvisations. Pohjola's musical perspective has been reshaped many times since this recording. On this one, however, you'll hear the foundation to the craft and creativity which has influenced many of today's Scandinavian jazz artists.
